Why is the Raleigh, North Carolina area such a great place to move to?

A lot of reasons!….

GREAT JOB MARKET

Exploding with jobs in technology, finance, bio tech, education, and health care. With a low unemployment rate ,a thriving local economy, and new companies choosing Raleigh as their headquarters, the outlook for good jobs in the Triangle is solid. As a technology and research hub,Raleigh is extremely more affordable than other areas of the country.

GREAT LOCATION

It’s a BEAUTIFUL PLACE to live with lots of trees, all four seasons but no long hard cold winters. A typical winter day in Raleigh could be anywhere from 40 to 80 degrees….maybe one or two snows per winter and its all melted in 2 days! And here in Raleigh we are only 2 hours from some of the nicest beaches on the East Coast..and about 3 hours to the Great Smoky Mountains.

LOWER COST OF LIVING

Though the area has now been discovered, the cost of living here is much lower than most big metro areas of the US. That means housing costs are considerably lower than most medium to large US cities. We have homes at all price points but prices are rising and so is demand so don’t wait too long or you could get priced out!

SO MUCH TO SEE, DO, EAT & DRINK!

As the employment picture has really taken off so have all the amenities that make life here fun and enjoyable…great restaurants and bars all over, concert venues, parks, breweries (over 250 now in North Carolina) art, music, sporting venues, beaches, and mountains, and lots of choices between small towns and large to medium cities. There are music, food, art, and international festivals happening all the time in the Triangle area and if you are a sports fan…North Carolina is a mecca for soccer, basketball, tennis, and golf events, plus  minor league baseball!

GREAT SCHOOLS

Some of the best colleges and universities in the US. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was the first public university in the United States. North Carolina State University, with over 35,000 students excels in science, technology, math and engineering. Duke University, with around 7000 students is consistently ranked in the top 10 of all colleges in the US.

THE PEOPLE

There is a thing called Southern hospitality. Though North Carolina is not the deep South, it is rich with traditions and the people here are genuinely friendly. And the people that aren’t from here are happy to now be here. Why wouldn’t they be with so many great reasons to live here!

Client Reviews

After listening to Cheyenne and how to price my property, I got an offer the first day it was on the market and it was over the asking price!
— Mary
Cheyenne took the time and effort to help educate me and my husband about the local Raleigh real estate market. When we found the right home for us, we knew it was exactly what we wanted and at the right price
— Rachel and Eric
I don’t live in the US, but I bought a home in Cary as an investment as my son was going to college in the area. Cheyenne made sure it was a good area to be in. She walked me through everything and made sure there were no surprises!
